Welsh Teachers Confer
Cardiff: We led a number of demonstration workshops with children at the Welsh National Music Teachers Conference on 17th October. These workshops were enthusiastically received by teachers from schools all over Wales. The workshops showed how we build musical activities in stages, moving from body percussion to untuned percussion to tuned classroom instruments; how it is confidence-building and exciting for children; and how musicians of all standards and stages can take part and gain from our approach. The conference ended with performances from many groups including the Groove On children. top |
